Wonderful camera
I just got back from a two week vacation in Alaska and I must say this camera is outstanding. From wide angle views of the amazing scenery to getting close to the glaciers from a cruise ship this camera does it all. The images are crisp and clear and the image stabilization works excellent. For anyone looking for a good compromise for a digital SLR so you don’t ned to carry additional lenses this is a great camera that you will be pleasently surpirsed by.
Solid Camera
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18K is a solid camera that works very well. I love the focusing features of this camera and ultimately the final result - photos.
Excellent camera for zoom lovers
This is the best camera for optical zoom lovers. This is the best in its class and delivers amazing results. I placed order with BuyNowInc they processed the order without any problems and this is the best service I have experienced in the recent past.
The camera does its job very neatly and has some very amazing options. I am quite happy with the camera so far and the only thing that can be improved his zooming capability while taking motion pictures/movie.
great camera
I used it during my holidays in Turkey. Very lightweight for hiking. Also I can used it inside museum as Santa Sophia basilic where flash is forbidden to take details of mosaic.
Battery LIfe
The camera is all they say it is for the most part. The zoom is great, and the picture quality is very good. The display is intuitive, but the LCD is hard to see if you try to elevate the camera to take a shot over the crowd. I would buy this camera again. I found one major draw back and that was the claim, that the supplied battery gets 400 pictures. I took 200 pictures on a full change and the battery was about to give out on me after only 200 shots with maybe 30 using a flash. You will want a back up battery if you take a lot of shots with this camera.
